A Place of Our Own KCET’s A Place of Our Own (Los Niños en Su Casa in Spanish) is a daily television series, a website, and an extensive outreach program devoted to the unique needs of people who care for children.

Family, friends and neighbors – everyone who takes care of young children – are child care providers. Every interaction and every activity of these adults with their charges provide valuable opportunities to help children learn and grow.

A Place of Our Own shares ways for us all to help children acquire cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills, as well as nurture language and literacy development.

The Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey The Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey publishes a variety of booklets, brochures, fact sheets, and posters on brain injury topics. Our publications are available free to persons with a brain injury, family members, professionals and organizations.

Autism Society Tips for the Holidays Twelve Tips for Helping People with Autism and Their Families Have a Happy Holiday.

While many happily anticipate the coming holiday season, families of people on the autism spectrum also understand the special challenges that may occur when schedules are disrupted and routines broken. Our hope is that by following these few helpful tips, families may lessen the stress of the holiday season and make it a more enjoyable experience for everyone involved. The following tips were developed with input from the Autism Society, the Indiana Resource Center for Autism, Easter Seals Crossroads, the Sonya Ansari Center for Autism at Logan and the Indiana Autism Leadership Network.

NBN Autism Program The NBN AUTISM program is designed for children diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Our mission is to provide evidenced-based, best practice strategies to maximize the personal potential of each child. Compassion and sensitivity are combined with clinical competence and expertise. While our program is based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices, our team of professionals are eclectic in their approach, recognizing the importance of individualized treatment.
