Dear Collingswood and Oaklyn School Communities,
To ensure that students, families, staff, and community members are protected against COVID-19 as school is underway, the Collingswood Borough, the Collingswood School District, and Camden County health officials will offer free COVID-19 vaccinations monthly.
As the school semester is underway, getting a COVID-19 vaccine now will allow everyone enough time to receive a second dose and/or booster before the end of the year, guaranteeing the best possible protection against COVID-19 and the highly transmissible Omicron variant.
Everyone, 5 years and older, is recommended to get a COVID-19 vaccine. COVID-19 vaccines are free regardless of insurance or immigration status.
A choice of four vaccines – Pfizer (both formulations for 12+ and children 5-11), Moderna (18+), and Johnson & Johnson (18+) will be available to accommodate families and staff who need first, second, or booster doses, in addition to students. Currently, only the Pfizer vaccine formulations are available to individuals 5-17 years of age.
Vaccination staff will be available at the school site to answer any questions.
The next vaccination event, in collaboration with the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH), will begin Monday, March 28th. Please find a list of specific dates, locations, and times below as well as on the district website.
